NORTHWEST AIRLINES FLIGHT #586 08/19/2006 (VANCOUVER TO MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL On 08/19/2006, we (Keith & Anne Crenshaw) boarded the above flight to return from our Alaskan Cruise. We had paid in excess of $2,300.00 to fly FIRST CLASS. As our flight became airborne, some of the people in the regular cabin (not 1st class) stated that they were crowded and uncomfortable. One flight attendant told them there was nothing that could be done about it as the flight was full. HOWEVER, there was a black lady who stated that she was "in charge" of such arrangements and that there were vacant seats in First Class. So, she moved 6 adults and one child into the First Class section and these people were given all the same perks that we who had PAID for them were given and they were not charged ANYTHING for it. This is not fair and I don't care who was in charge, if they had not paid for First Class, they should not have been seat4ed in First Class accommodations. We feel that we should be refunded the extra amount we paid for flying First Class and if some adjustment isn't made, you can bet we will never fly Northwest Airlines again and we'll tell everyone we meet not to. I will await your response and believe me, I DO EXPECT ONE.
