I contacted cingular about my May 2006 billing, I told them that there is a strange number showing up on my phone hundreds of times. the number is 954-727-9999, They are insisting that I'm making these calls to this number. Since my phone is a treo 650 it keeps log of every single call for the last 6 months. My phone doesn't show a outgoing call to this number at anytime. I went over my call log with by bill with the CS and I notice when ever I had a missed call on my phone cingular will bill me for an outgoing call to this number. I also have unlimited incoming calls so all incoming calls should be FREE. For some reason Cingular in taking all my missed calls and re-routing them as outgoing call to 954-727-9999. I need help quickly, I was forced to pay 1275.46 to keep my business going.

 

Since June I've made several calls to cingular and speak with different cs reps who tell me conflicting information. I was told that the number being dialed is a cingular switch # and they don't know what the problem is, I was told that it was a fax number that I was calling. I was promised by cingular that my service would not be interupted while the investigation is ongoing. Even with that promise My service was disconnected 2x during period. On Aug 25, 2006 My service was once again disconnected, when I called cingular I was told that my account cannot be restored until I pay the pass due balance of $1275.46. I spoke Louise Pauls the CS manager, she had no interest to help me but rather to just get a payment. Since I use my phone for my business I was forced to pay the $1275.46 Balance to get my service turned back on. I was told by louise that the investigation was complete that I'm responsible for those calls to that number, I contested it again and she said that the decision was final and they was nothing I can do about it. I ask her why didn't I get a courtsey call to tell me that the investigation was complete and I need to make a payment, She replyed that they are mailing out the letter Today aug.25 2006 to notify me that the investigation was complete. I reply to her and ask how can they disconnect my service before notifying me she said tuff luck, and I need to pay the bill before restoring my service. I was contacted by a rep on 8/22 who told me that my account is still being investigaged and they he will contact me shortly with any update. while speaking with this CS rep. we discover that all of my missed calls where being billed as OUTGOING mins to the 954-727-9999 number. he then calculated that out of 2500 outgoing mins use during peak time over 2200 of these mins were a direct result of call that were being placed to 954-727-9999. I was told by the rep that he investigate more and call me back. he gurantee me that my service will not be interupted and that I would receive credit including lost roll-over mins due to this problem with the SWITCH.

-Had cingular service since 1997

-2 acccount totaling 4-lines

-Avg bill $200 on my main account 954-309-2112

-Upgraded my account from 850 mins to 1450 anytime mins in April ( problems stated then)

-Unlimited Incoming calls Feature (Get 90% incoming calls)

-7pm nights/weekend

Unlimited mobile to Mobile

I NEVER DIAL 954-727-9999
