Fine Art Treasures Gallery in Pasadena CA

I was unfortunate enough to come across Fine Art Treasures Gallery located in Pasadena CA. They have a television auction show two evenings per week ~ Fridays and Saturdays. Friday evening, August 6, I happened across them and saw several items which I did successfully bid on. I then went to their website and saw a return policy which I didn’t like. Their policy is for a 5 day return for store credit only or full refund minus a 20% restocking fee. I immediately called them back within 20 minutes of placing those bids to CANCEL ALL of the bids. No problem they said….it is all done by telephone number. Okay, that should have been enough to satisfy me.

On Sunday, August 7…..I received a phone call from Jill asking if I was also canceling the order for a Ladies Rolex Watch, and repeated to her that I had CANCELED ALL of my bids and wasn’t expecting anything at all……….That should have clued me in. On Monday, August 8, I telephoned my bank and nothing had hit my account………so I was relieved. I also called Fine Art Treasures Gallery to again clarify that my bids were cancelled and nothing was being sent to me. They said they couldn’t find anything on my account and that I should be okay. WRONG!!!!

On Wednesday, August 17 one of those items arrived at my house. When I opened it and saw what it was I just about had a heart attack! That item was $1,515.00. I called the company complaining about this error and they instructed me to send it back and which I did same day and overnight delivery. Then I called my bank…….that is when I discovered that $6,225.00 had been debited from my account for ALL of the items……not just this $1,515.00 mistake!

I have had numerous conversations with Jill and who has hung up on me as many times. She tells me I have to wait for their accountant who comes in at “night”. Well, I have no merchandise……..don’t want it either…….but they have $6,225.00 and don’t want to give it back! How could all of this go so horribly wrong???

I am more than upset and “overdrawn”. Don’t ever, ever, ever use your “DEBIT/CREDIT CARD” to purchase anything from people you don’t know because they don’t care about SERVICE, YOU OR YOUR CREDIT!
