COMPLAINT: ONLINE BILL PAYMENT FOR CELLONE To
Whomsoever It May Concern:
I have this Postpaid connection for Cellone. My number being 9448116525 and account number 201456952.
it is very sad to find that there has been no provision made for the bill payments to be made online. Being in Bangalore, i thought this is common for all service providers to have online bill payment option. I was shocked to find that the official website(bsnl.in) that boasts of online bill payment was meant only for Andhra Pradesh!!
This is outrightly misleading to provide such info.Bsnl started this service way back in 2004 and no effort has been made to make this option a nation wide one.Why then should bsnl offer this option in it's national/official website? make a link saying this is just for andhra pradesh subscribers. Because of this redundant and non-updated info we subscribers are forced to waste our precious time in searching the correct channels and to bring this matter to the notice of the people concerned.
Being a software engineer, i dont understand why BSNL is taking so long to implement online payment option for other parts of India.(At least in Bangalore, though we have Bangaloreone, it is not feasible in many ways,For eg, they accept only credit cards, what if we dont have a credit card?) this is just plain callousness or inefficient customer service from YOUR side.
Being your customer, i am in no other option but to plead to you to make bill payments on your services available online as soon as possible.
Moreover, the BSNL offices in many parts of Bangalore do not accept payments for CELLONE.How can we know which branch/office of bsnl accepts the cellone bills?What are we supposed to do? go in search of all the BSNL offices which accepts Cellone bills?this is one other baffling state of matters.Being an Government organisation, Please for the sake of this country wake up and be more responsible towards the needs of your customers and be more service oriented. Look at the rival, private and multinational service providers in this field, they win and score over the GOVT organization just because of their better customer service policy.We dont mind paying more for a much efficient and effective system at work.
i just pray to GOD that this agony will fall on the right ears and an action is taken to alleviate the problems faced by BSNL(CellOne) customers at least in this regard..

It is noticed that the bills were not promptly received by this department. Hence, it was not paid. Now personally I have sent attender on 12.12.2009 to SDE (Cellone) but refused to give the bills of September'2009 & October'2009 for making payment and to activate the mobile. It is not that easy to pay from my pocket and claim from the Department later. In view of this I requested to issued two months bills which are of latest bills for payment but refused. The detailed bill has shown double or two times addition in my GPRS plan( Rs.199 per month). The bill detail not correct. Kindly alternate my bill so that I can submit the same in time. The correct bill detail as as: Recurring Charges = Rs.99.00+199.00 = 298.00 Usage Charges Rs. 125.00 Total Amount Due= Rs. 423.00 The detailed Recurring amount shown Recurring Charges = Rs. 199.00+99.00+199.00 = Rs. 497.00 which is totally wrong.
