Toshiba 52in projection TV lamps/ Best Buy

Toshiba 52in projection TV lamps/ Best Buy Feb 15 2006 I bought a Toshiba 52 in from Best Buy in Lakeland Florida and in 3 months the lamp blew out. Well their service tech brought out a new lamp prior to checking out the TV and stated he knew what the problem was without looking at it because the lamps are defective. Again, three weeks later the new lamp, supposedly a newly designed lamp, blew out. On checking the Toshiba website I noticed that my TV model number was not one of those defective ones. Where or not this is true, Best Buy will do nothing but bring out a new lamp until the forth one blows out and then they will replace the TV. Meanwhile, each time it blows out I have to wait 5-7 days before they send out a repair man. I think at the very least this is inconsiderate, especially since the TV is only 4 months old. It cost over $2000.00 and here I am, so far I have gone 11 days without the use of the TV and the aggrevation. I recently bought a DVD video recorder, it was $30.00 cheaper at Best Buy than Circuit City, but at least they stand behind their products. I spent $30.00 more and got it at Circiut City. I do not believe I will ever purchase another item from Best Buy. I know plenty of people who say the same thing about them, they do not stand behind their products, are rude to deal with, and charge a restocking fee when you do have to return something, if you can return it at all. All total my purchase that day was over $3000.00. Seems to they would want to keep their customers instead of alienating them with the policy and lousy staff.
