Cingular Wireless Complaint This was my first month on a brand new contract with Cingular Wireless My wife and I bought new activation from Cingular wireless in March of 2005. We received the bill the next month and were amazed to see it said we owed $2995. I called and asked why. They said my cell phone number used a month worth of Internet. I argued the charge and repeatedly told them I don't use the Internet for my phone. They told me the charges were valid and i would have to pay them. I repeatedly tried to get a manager on the phone because the customer support only said the charges were valid and I would have to pay. I also was spoken to very poorly. After 20 or so calls I finally got a manager on the phone by the name of Chris Gusnowsky. After speaking to him for 20 mins and explaining my troubles as a first month user, he told me that he has seen this same problem repeatedly and that he would credit my acct for $1350 which was his limit and that I would have to wait a few weeks while he sends the rest to corporate offices to be looked at. I then waited one month and then started calling every week to check on the status of my bill. I was told by 3 reps there that it was still being reviewed. Now 3.5 months later I called back and asked to be called back by a manager. A rep called me back finally and said there was nothing notated in the account that my account was being reviewed by corporate and that my account was now past due and I need to pay $1500 to keep my phone on. Also since my becoming a client my billing was wrong every single month and my account has been credited 3 different times because of there billing errors. I have spent more than 6 hours on the phone with them and have no more options other than go to another carrier and seek council and be put in collections.
