Chase Kennesaw, GA -Visa credit card

For the second time in five months, Chase zapped me for a $35 late fee plus interest despite my having mailed our payment two weeks before its due date. When I called to complain, they blamed the post office (a recurring theme throughout the complaint board on this company) and refused to reverse the unjust charge. In over 30 years I have never had this problem with another credit card company. I have no other choice than to believe that they are intentionally holding the check and posting it one day after its due date. The reason? It is a 0% card for 18 months offered through Circuit City, and at the rate I'm paying it off, it looks like they're not going to make any money the legitimate way, so they have decided to get their money using shady tactics such as these.
