>From the moment I signed up with Vonage, I had nothing but problems. From the number transfer taking over a month, to not being able to hear callers, callers not being able to hear me, no connection, no dial tone, no voice mail, no ring, etc. I was on the phone with their customer service department weekly. Each time I was treated like crap yet each time I allowed to them talk me into staying. Finally after 6 months of headaches, 5 months of no phone service, 6 months of customer service abuse, 3 months of faulty equipment, and hundreds of dollars spent, I cancelled my account. They had the audacity of charging me $40 because I cancelled prior to 1 year. I had paid over $100 for a phone, their monthly fee and now a cancellation fee for services and products that did not work.

Vonage has faulty equipment, rude & disrespectful customer service, lousy service and complete disregard or accountability. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR VONAGE!

The hope of saving money is not worth the crap that is Vonage. They disregarded my complaints, concerns, and basically pushed me aside like unimportant trash. This seems to be how they treat all of their customers. Now I am out hundreds of dollars and stuck with a phone that only works with Vonage.
