Tracfone Wireless My Friend was with Tracfone wireless and said that if I joined, we would both get 100 free minutes. So I got a New Nokia 1100. After I activated my phone, I tried a Refer-A-Friend service. I got a We are sorry, the promotion you are attempting to participate in has expired. He sent me the email 2 days ago and it did not expire.
So I contacted Customer Support, after wait for about 10 minutes. They said wait 24-48 hours for some one to contact me back after I send a copy of the email. Then I get this: If this issue has been resolved, please disregard this e-mail. Thank you for your interest in TracFone. We are responding to your recent inquiry. Regarding your issue, we would need you to send us the following information:
* A forwarding of the promotional e-mail (the one with the three steps which was received by the referred party involved in this promotion).Allow 24-48 hours to process the request and one of our representatives will contact you by e-mail.
What are they talking about? I already sent them an email with just what they want. After that they never contacted me back. So I called back and they said I need to provide both serial numbers from mine and my friends phone. Finally I received an email saying I needed to call Customer support to get the 100 minutes for us. So when I called, the guy gave me codes to put in, which did not work. Then he said my phone was defective and I have to get a refurbished phone and I had to send my phone back. I didn't like the idea of getting a used phone from a new phone, but I waited any way and when it shipped, I called Customer Support. Now they said that phone was defective and I had to get another one! For the Second Time!
It has been almost 2 weeks, and I I called DHL, for not receiving my phone and they said they could not find the phone a Tracfone never shipped it. So I called Tracfone back and they claim they shipped it but would send another one anyway. Now it has been 1 month and I decided to try my case number, an once I saw what it said, I was Mad! "This issue has been resolved..." All I get from tracfone is excuses and promises they never keep. I have spoke to them about 16 different times and now neither me or my friend are with tracfone.
