Literary Guild Select Books

I have canceled my account numerous times because of the slow process in receiving the new titles. Other stores received their books the day they are released. Literary Guild Select books are received 1 to 2 weeks after they hit the street. By the time I receive the best sellers from LG I have already bought a copy from BJ's or Sams.

I am still getting books even though I have canceled my subscription. I have returned some but the last two I refuse to return because it is time consuming. How do I stop the materials from coming?

I not only did not join this book club which I never heard of before, but I never received any books either. Today is the first I have heard of them. I just received a bill from a collection agency. They say the account was opened in 2002 and turned over to the collection agency in 2005. Aren't they a little slow in contacting me? This is 2010! Apparently this is a true scam. Since I pay all my bills in cash, I have no credit rating. So they can go ahead and ruin my credit. I don't need it.
