People PC Internet Service

Am having a difficult time canceling People PC. First they advertise a lower rate for the first 3 months - but when they charged my card, they charged twice as much as they were supposed to. Then, when I tried to call them I got a message saying that I was being charged 1.95 per minute for the call and then I GOT PUT ON HOLD! I hung up and went on line to get another number for customer service. They put me on hold and NEVER took my call. How are you supposed to cancel this service. I can put stop payment with the bank, but they will charge me $30.00.
