I bought a Dell Inspiron 9100. It constantly overheated. Finally it would not power on. Dell Tech support analyzed the problem and told me that the motherboard was "fried". Since it was 2 years olkd they informed me that it was out of warranty and would cost me $350 to replace the motherboard, with no guarantee that the same thing would occur. I spent $1500 on the laptop and am being penalized for a poor, flawed design. Dell should have put a warning label on the laptop- "Will Self-Desruct within 2 Years". E.
