I ordered an electronics item and received confirmation on my order. Subsequently, Amazon cancelled my order and I received no email regarding this cancellation. As a result, I waited for two weeks for the order to arrive. After two weeks, I searched through my emails and found the original order confirmation and searched for the order number on the Amazon website. The website indicated that my order had been cancelled, but gave no reason for the cancellation. It was very important that I had this item, and now two weeks have passed and I'll have to drive to a store to make a purchase. Amazon sent no communications to notify me that they cancelled my order. This is extremely frustrating, and my opinion is that I can't trust Amazon to follow through with the purchases I make from their site. I will not purchase from Amazon again.
Furthermore, it is very difficult to determine how to contact customer support on Amazon’s website. The website indicates that each Help page has a customer support link, but this is not true. I wasted 10 minutes trying to find a link to customer support. In addition, the menus that must be navigated after clicking on customer support are annoying and have several bugs.
