Witcobber - ABSOLUTELY no support service

I purchased the RM to AVI MPEG WMV VCD SVCD DVD Converter from Witcobber.com in late June. I realized within a few hours after I purchased the software that it only worked for short clips that lasted a few seconds. The software did NOT work as it promised so I emailed the customer service as any normal human being would do. THIS is what the vendor promised at the official website:

We promise to answer you within within 24-48 hours. But in most cases you'll get our response in a few hours or immediately.

 

I filed an inquiry on 27 June 2006 and got absolutely no response. I emailed the support service again on 1 July, 5 July, and 30 July 2006. It has been one month and I have NOT HEARD ONE WORD from the vendor. This is totally unacceptable and I feel extremely offended as a customer. I even looked up the domain name owner and emailed the person who is in charge. It looks quite obvious that the whole company is probably run by one person. I don't mind a slight delay in response but sheer negligience reflects a total lack of respect for one's clients. I have made all reasonable and courteous attempts at communicating, but all I get is a non-response. Despite the fact that the vendor violated the contract (not to mention trust) as I understood it, there is not much I can do as a powerless customer to claim what I am entitled to. All I can do now is to inform as many people as I can about the need to buy online softwares ONLY from established vendors, and that they should AVOID WITCOBBER AT ALL COST. Save your $29 for a nice meal. Hard earned money should not be dumped into trash bin like this.

I also purchased Power Video pack ( Converter + Joiner + Splitter) for $69.00 and for over ONE year I've been trying to get a hold of them to obtain my Product Registration as the email I had backed up on a CD will NO longer open.


Every link of email addresses on their site bounces back to me with the following message:

I did search the domain and obtained an email address of the "apparent owner" but who the heck knows.


This makes me angry and REGSOFT couldn't help me other than to send me the info they had...which didn't contain the Registration for the product I purchased, they said I had to get it from Witcobber directly and offered the same DEAD END email addresses as I already tried a bazillion times.
