Cingular Wireless - $5.00 charge for old phones

I read in the paper today where Cingular is planning to charge $5.00 for

people using old phones. How can they get away with this? I'm a senior

citizen with a very nice Nokia that works better than most of the new

phones. I cannot be throwing away money for something I don't need. If

Cingular goes ahead with this plan I will drop them. I wonder how many

other customers feel the same way. I wonder how a company can get away with

such a scam.
