Jack LaLanne Power Juicer : I ordered a Jack LaLanne Power Juicer during an infomercial. I never received the item. After calling, and waiting for about 20 minutes I got a rep who determined that it had been sent to the wrong address - they US mailed it to my physical address. They said to send another one they would need to charge my credit card again. Suspecting a total foul up, I declined and the rep said my credit card would be credited for the refund. He said, please don't dispute the charge with your card company. Well, not only did they NOT refund my money, they charged me for the second installment. I tried calling again and was told the wait was 25 minutes, so I quit and called my credit card company and disputed the charges. It was taken care of in less than 5 minutes. I was told that they are getting a lot of disputes against this company. The FTC should look into "Tri-Juicer", but I have sent complaints to them before, and they seem pretty impotent. I wonder if Jack LaLanne knows how they are besmirching his name?
