natwest gold visa card

Online transaction to purchase reading festival tickets.

I managed to get thro and buy two tickets for this event last night and

had a confirmation email which does state that the purchase is

dependent on the credit card being accepted.however this morning i had

a call from natwest credit card company saying they had refused payment

because i was not present at the transaction ie it was on-line. i was

told that the retailer should have verified my address and didnt.

when i rang nat west again as i was not happy about this the next

customer sevices person said it was refused because it was at 4am !

I was then passed over to a team manager who said that they couldnt do

anything about it. i did persuade her to try and reinstate the purchase

and she said she would try and ring the retailer. in the meantime i

have checked the ticket tracker on line and have found that the

purchase has been cancelled.

i have
