CarMax - automotive repair... CarMax Dealership in Lithia Springs, GA.
We bought a 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan from CarMax in December 2004 and we've had problems ever since. We purchased their extended warranty and was told, that would cover everything except maintenance. This has been an outright lie. The day we bought the vehicle, the electric side door would not open and we were assured by the saleswoman that the door would be fixed. Their idea of fixing this door was to "lubricate" it and recommend that I carry a bottle of silicon spray to lubricate it myself (and trust me, this is NOT a problem with the lubrication). We brought it back at least 3 or 4 times for this same problem, with the same results each time. A year later we're *still* fighting this problem The only difference is now they are charging us to NOT fix the problem. On top of that, they are trying to charge for bleeding the brakes, even though there was a leak in the house (manufactorer recall problem), and of course they can't seem to find the transmission problems either that we brought it in for (which we also took to them to be fixed a year ago...and it was never fixed then). Automatic transmissions should not jerk (and I mean jerk badly) when changing gears. They simply do not want to fix the problems.
CarMax is just as bad, if not worse than any other dealership out there.
