I have several complaints about sears!

My daughter had a sears charge she had let it get out of hand and it went to collections when she called for a pay off they gave her an amount to pay and we thought that would be the end of it. After she paid them they sent her a bill for 45 dollar and we called them and they took those charges off then the next month they sent her a bill for $1.14 we called again and was told we had to pay this charge they said it was interest fees. I thought when a bill went to collections and they gave you a payoff that was that and you no longer owed them any thing. It isn't the money it is the princable of the matter and how it was all handled.

I also bought my girls some clothes from sears and I know they have a 90 day return policy but my one daughter took her clothes back with the receipt and they gave her a gift card for her return. I was not happy about that at all as I paid cash for the clothes. When my other daughter went to take her things back with the receitp 2 days later they told her that they couldn't give her, her money back or a gift card cause they had a 90 day policy. When we asked to see a manager she refuse to get one for us and was very rude to us. The funny thing is my daughter has worked for sears and she knows that they could take the mechandise back 90 day policy or not. When my daughter told her this she said they couldn't do that cause they had a new computer system and they didn't have the option to do an override on the register. Funny thing all register in most big department stores have and override button.The funny thing is 2 days before they did an override for my other daughter.

Also one day while shopping in sears I was looking at some sale items and I noticed the signs in the store to be very deceiving. They have sign with 70% off and then in tiny print they read 30% 40% off or up to 70% off. I am a person that when I shop for sales or clearances I want to see the true percentage off not from too. These sign are very deceiving. Sears has gone down hill and there customer service is the worst I have incountered in ages.

I have been a loyal sears customer, I have purchase many appliances, clothes, electronics and tools from them. I also had 2 of there credit cards but not now and I never will get another one and from here on out I will not purchase anything from them. Service is going to the dogs in every department of sears.
