Ford Intake manifold cracked

Ford Intake manifold cracked I have just got back from the ford dealer and paid $1018.00 to get the intake manifold replaced because all the coolant ran out. It was made from plastic. I did some further investigation and found that Ford has settled a lawsuit that started years ago for the same item and I never was informed. The dealer has informed me that I could have lost the whole engine as some others have. The replacement has a runner made from aluminum that replaces that part of the manifold that the coolant water pases through between the cylinder heads. This proves that they knew about the problem but refuse to give any sort of notice or compensation to owners who are past the 7 year limit set up by a class action suit. I also found out that most of the persons that have these cars will loose out because they were not notified and it is only a matter of time before this happens to them. It seems that you can use anything you like to make parts for cars knowing that the material will not last. Ford gets away with this because they are so big and we have so little to fight them with. They do this because plastic is so inexpensive to produce when compared to aluminum. We buy their cars and do not know of these things until much later which is just the way they like it. If there were another class action suit I want to be included.
