Empire was supposed to install 2 carpets in my home on April 10th, 2006. One of the 2 carpets was cat too short. Their installer failed to come out THREE times while I took off from work. On 4/13 they agreed to give me a $500 credit off my purchase price. Said it would be issued in 7 business days. Today, 4/27, I was told it would be another 7 to 10 days before my money would be refunded. They have no answers and no excuses! The head guy at North Lake is Troy Pringle, phone 800-588-2300, extension 7821. No response from him of course. If anyone else has had a problem with Empire (and I know there are many), try and reach him and get some satisfaction.
