Aspire Credit Card

My 84 yr old mother received an Aspire credit card. She used it approximately 3 times. After each purchase she paid the bill in full the day she received it. All of a sudden her next bill had a charge for some jewelery on it. This went on for four months, each month another billing for jewelry. She phoned the jewelry company and Aspire (once she finally was able to get a live person on the phone) and told them both not only did she not order jewelry but she never received any jewelry. She has written three letters to Aspire disputing these charges, made several attempts via the phone to dispute these charges and again yesterday she received a bill for over $100. I got on the phone and after over 30 minutes I finally for Ms. Peter-Day on the phone who said well we don't have anything in our records, she needs to fill out the dispute form and send it in. I advised her there was no form with this nasty letter. She siad she would fax me one within 2 minutes. 24 hours later I still have no form and again I cannot get anyone on the phone. These letters are nasty and now this is going to ruin my mom's credit. How can we stop this?

I have had this awful credit card for over 3yrs.I started out with a credit line of $250. I used the card one time for a $50 purchase. Now the balance on the account in $891. How is this possible? They charge you all these fees and even when you have your bank acct. drafted for the monthly payment, it still takes them 2wks to post your acct. I hate everything about this credit card co. They are nothing but a bunch of crooks. I am going to report them to the BBB, and contact consumer affairs, because they should be stopped from taking advantage of people.
