Verizon DSL & Verizon's DSL Customer Service

I ordered Verizon's DSL service on April 4th - my

modem kit was mailed out on April 10th and I was sent

3 confirmation emails that DSL was ready to be

activated on April 21st. Then two days prior to my

activation date, I get an automated voicemail stating

that DSL is not available on my line.


After calling and talking to six different customer

service reps, I still to this date (4/20/06), know the

true status of my situation. I have heard six

different stories and I am beginning to wonder if

Verizon isn't split into eight or 10 different

countries - that's why we can never get a true answer

as nobody speaks the same customer service language!!!


So, what I intend to do is wait the 2/3 weeks they

told me to wait and if no response from Verizon, I am

cancelling my DSL order and going to

Comcast...however, I don't know if that company is any

better than what I have here!
