Re Bell Xpress Vu abuse of customers Your company , is absolutely incredible! Where do you get off on pretending and answering the phone me , “ How can I offer you outstanding service. You can’t even get your telephone prompts right . Thorough your multiple choice prompts I am taken into the commercial dept 4 times , then wait on hold for another 5- 10 mins to get someone. It gets better. In early March ,I inquire about HD TV as I am considering buying one . They tell me I need a new box, and make sure I get the 6100 model as then I will not need upgrades. I do that and the HD TV does not work. I call in and again through multiple links and on hold forever, I get someone who says , my internal programming is not set up right. He walks me through the system and we change a bunch of things and , he says it should work . Oh and then he up sells me a higher package and says I will need this too. I hang up and still the HD does not work. I call again and go through multiple links and on hold forever some times up to 25 minutes .Finally I get someone , who informs me now I will need a satellite switching up grade and it will cost me another $100 plus installation.. Reluctantly I agree, she goes off the phone and says no, I will need a few other switches and now it’s up to over $200.00 I ask to talk to a supervisor, I go on hold for another 15 minutes. I explain to him all the miss representations , he agrees to get it down back to $100 with a series of programming credits, specials. I say" go for it". 3-1/2 weeks later still no equipment has arrived even though my visa was debited for a much higher amount of $216.59 on March 27. I call in again on April 19 late afternoon. I explain the problem , she puts me on hold for 18 minutes. Only to get on the phone to say the sales dept is closed and to call back tomorrow with this “direct” number 1- 888-673-3788. I call today April 20th and it is NOT direct, same prompts same format, and I end up not in the sales dept, they put me on hold again , I end up with a Siadana op # 6014728 who has a hard time with English. He puts me on hold 2 different times from 5- 10 min ea. , only to tell me that my Visa was rejected so they cancelled the order. I said it wasn’t rejected as I have the $216.59 debit right in front of me on my statement. He puts me on hold again and comes back and says my visa was rejected and they credited me the $216.59 . As I had my statement on line I could see that was not true. He said they just credited me while I was on the phone. I said how could my Visa be rejected when they are crediting me ? And why are they crediting me 3-1/2 weeks later and why are they canceling the order? I insisted on an answer , he hung up on me . This all happened at approx 11:55 am my time How can you possibly take a never late paying customer of 4 years thorough such torment. You are definitely a company out of control. I welcome your comments, solutions and apologies as soon as possible, Yours truly, Tim Konkin From: Message Author (click here to email author)Date: Thursday, 20-Apr-06 15:33:34 CDT Business: Reply Online Consumer: Comment On This Comment On ThisI'm sure everyone had to change their programming April 1st.So i did but i had paid my bill of 91.10 that would have covered me till april 25th.So when we chose the new program i didn't take the highest package.When i called them to let them know i had already paid my bill and had asked when i would be getting a credit they told me on my next bill .I called 2 times the 1st the C.S.R. was so dumb she had said u don't get a credit so i got upset and she ended up hanging up on m e. so i called back and got someone from near ottawa to talk to. He had said oh yes you can see the credits on the 3rd page ....what 3rd page i only got 2 pages which says i had a credit of over 57.00 did i get the money nooooooooooo so i think they all need to return to school to learn Math . TRIED TO SWITCH BACK NO GO TWO DAYS ON THE PHONE PUT USE BACK WHERE WE WERE TERRIFIED TO EVER TRY HD AGAIN!
