Fisher Paykel Dishwasher

To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing because I think someone needs to know what poor customer service your company gives. I bought a 2-drawer dishwasher less than 2 years ago from Austin Closs Appliance here in Waco, Texas. Tomorrow I will be having it thrown out and a new dishwasher installed. And yes I mean literally put to the trash heap because I wouldn’t wish this disaster on my worst enemy! I am sick of fighting with Fisher Paykel. We began having problems the moment it was installed in that the water never completely drained from the tub. Within the year the dishwasher began working as if there was a ghost in the machine. We could close our back door and the dishwasher would come to life. But God forbid if I wanted to start it, I would have to go through all sorts of pushing it closed and holding my breath just right to get it to go through an entire cycle. Next we noticed a Verdi-green deposit all along the top of the drawer and around the seals. Our repairman says he never saw such a thing and that it was probably due to the fact that the water never drained properly and was leaking through the seal. We have spent well over $250 getting the thing repaired over and over and over again and I have stood there while our repairman phoned your service department and was told how to correct the problem. The thing is, the dishwasher has never worked properly from the very beginning and your company has done absolutely nothing to help us. Fisher Paykel says it is under warranty and we shouldn’t have to pay, but Ken Baker Services will not work on it without our payment, because Fisher Paykel never pays them. So I am sick and tired of fighting this whole thing and went out yesterday and bought a new dishwasher. And let me assure you that neither myself, nor anyone I come in contact with will ever purchase a Fisher Paykel product again.
