Empire Today -- Tampa, FL

Empire Today -- Tampa, FL I find it amazing that while Empire can install carpet and floor the next day, warranty claims are a totally different story. Repeated calls to the 800 number simply lead to a "someone will call you to schedule the repairs". On the one day that the crew was supposed to show up, they couldn't find my condo. (Of course, 2 salesman and two installation crews could, as could the repair "adjuster", but not the repair crew)
I have had two separate installations (carpet and wood flooring). Both had issues, mostly with poor workmanship. It's been 4 weeks on the carpet, and I finally gave up on the wood floor repair and did it myself.
The carpet pad joints have separated in at least 3 locations and are causing a tripping hazard. This is in a condo that an 80 year old lady lives in. To repair this requires a lot of furniture be moved, especially dining room furniture. The condo has now been "cluttered" with things for at least a week waiting for the repair crew to show.
