same day tv repair same day tv repair po box 111 waban,ma 02468 781-771-8057 My sony tv needed a screen installation. There are a total of 3 screens needed for my tv. I bought 2 of them directly from Sony and could not find the 3rd anywhere. So i found Same Day TV Repair in the white pages. They are based in MA but service the state of NH also. I gave them a ring and told them about the special lenticular screen i needed. The guy said he would have to make some calls to see if he could get it and give me a ring back. When he called back he said he could get it & it would 7-8 days to get the screen. (He also said the screen would be $200 which was fine with me the going rate on these screens when you buy them direct is about $130 dollars and i understand when you go threw a middle guy they raise the price to make profit)Mysteriously only 3 days went by and the guy called me and told me he just so happened to find the exact part that was needed and they would be in the area that day to install it. Later that day my roomate gave me a ring at work after they left and told me that the screen looked very blurry and she asked the guys why it was blurry and there response was that the contrast had to be adjusted on the tv and that was it. So when i got home from work i looked at the blurryness and could tell immediately that something was wrong. I made all the adjustments and nothing worked. As i took a closer look i noticed that the screen was scratched and there are black marks all over the screen. So not only did they install the wrong screen for my tv they installed a used one and charged me $200 for the used screen, $120 to install the used screen & $44 for the house call from MASS. Totaling $358.00 So when i called Same day tv repair the following day i told the guy that i knew the screen was used and i didnt want it! At this point the guys story changed and he appologized and said that the screen i ordered cracked on the way up and they put that one in so i had somthing to watch while i waited for my part. (Then why didn't they tell my roomate that in the beginning?) So he said the part would arrive in about 7-8 days. It has been over 3 weeks now i have tried dealing with this guy and he is impossible to deal with. He keeps telling me the part is coming which is a lie! I tried to ask him for a tracking # or any info to reasure me that the part is coming and his repsonse to that was i can not give you any of that information. So i finally just asked for my money back and he said that he isn't the person in control of refunds.(even though he is the one that took my credit card info)I told him i would be taking him to court and he said go ahead do what you want. Has i researched the company further i noticed they don't have an actual physical address except for one po box adress i found on the receipt they gave me. There is only one phone # which is a cell phone # and the same guy answers every single time.At this point the guy comepletly ignores my phone calls and will not answer to me anymore.

They run several on-line repair scams and don't give their address. I contacted them thru nh-tv-repair.com. They have a phone number 603-560-8000. They quoted me $160 for a cooling fan repair. However, when they got to the house the repair soared to over $300. Reluctantly with my wife pressuring me I agreed. We asked for the old parts, but he managed to distract us and we did not get them. He said I had bad power in my house and I should not use the tv until I got a better surge protector. Well, a couple of days latter I got the surge protector and powered up the tv. Well the same problem still existed. We called them to come back and setup an appointment. However, they didn't show. we tried again and no show again. We have since tried to call them several times, but they will not take our calls. A NOTE TO PEOPLE REQUIRING TV SERVICE... use a repair service that has a physical address. Do not use these scam russian con-artists. Dimitri came to our home to fix our Philips 42" plasma. He said the power source, modulator (?) and memory chip were damaged as a result of a power surge. He replaced the power source and the modulator (?) and said he'd be back to replace the memory chip but he would have to order that directly from Philips. We gave him $300 in cash and he said he'd send an electronic receipt to my email addy. We now have no TV, no receipt and we're out $300. The scam goes under Aleksy Zaitsev who can be reached through aleksey AT sng-international.com (if that's real). The address is P.O. Box 111, Waban, MA 02468. Phone is 617-830-8380 but this is also the fax number. The 781 number is an actual number but the mail box is full and cannot accept any messages. I think these guys, Aleksy & Dimitri have a little scam going and are masquerading around as a number of small business repairmen with a couple of different phone numbers. I paid him 400.00 to have a convergance board replaced in November of 07, only to have it fail Feb 2nd of 08. Dimitri now will not return any phone calls for the board to repaired. I did leave him a final message stating that the next call will be placed to the MA and NH Attorney Gen. offices.
