Sir,

 

Around 2 months back, a sales executive from HSBC CC division came to the firm I'm working for, for the sales and promotion of their credit cards. I was not keen on taking one, as I already had a HDFC card. But the sales executive was a friend of my colleague, and I applied for one on behalf of him. That was the moment I made a mistake. For the next one week, I was called regularly by the executive " to bring this document, that document" etc.

Then, finally when every documents have been submitted, I got a call from Chennai for verification. Then one from Ernakulam for another verification. After three days, I get a call again from Chennai office for further verification. Then my parents get a call for further verification and confirmation.

I went nuts when I got another call. When I asked the necessity of so many calls, I was asked to contact the customer care. I contacted the customer care, and the lady there told me " THERE MIGHT BE 4, 5 or EVEN 6 VERIFICATIONS. THIS IS THE PROCESS ".

I request that person concerned with CC, please reject my application. If this is what is happening during applying, I can't imagine what will happen during billings.

I have gone through the statement of Account for the period from 22.12.07 to 21.01.08 and understand that you have debited Rs.405.50 in my account towards late payment charge. In this connection, I would like to inform you that based on the statement; I am making payment on regular basis. Please also note that earlier payment could not made in time due to non- availability of account statement.


I have also made lumpsum payment of Rs.5000/- by cheque No.205409 dated 15.02.08, which was personally collected by your representative Mr. Umang Shah (Mobile No 9879567756)


Looking into the cordial relation with HSBC in past and the same is to be continued in future, I request you to reverse the amount of Rs. 405.50 debited in y account at the earliest & oblige.
