DO NOT BUY A TRACFONE I recently purchased a TracFone for $99. I have spent three weeks and countless hours each day trying to get the phone activated. I followed all directions given me by TracFone's service reps. The phone has never worked. I have given up, but I would like the world to know - DO NOT BUY A TRACFONE. Their Web page claims they will give you an authorization number to return the phone, but none of the reps I talked to would do so. This company's practices are fraudulent. I hope this will prove to be one way of getting the word out. This is the word: DO NOT BUY A TRACFONE. I will agree with you. I am going to quit because 1. The manager lies 2. The service is horrible 3. We have had 57 law suits 4.The manager has stolen things off my desk (my daughters picture), my cellphone, I caught him trying to steal my credit card, and saw him stealing money out of my wallet! 5. Tracfone implants device disabling microchips in the phones (they will automaticaly take off all of your airtime, deactivate your phone, and brake it permanantly! 6. Thay make phone calls to your phone and make you waste your airtime claiming to be for example: Mom (gives the phone number) you pick-up then they say "Hello! Goodbye!" then disconnect! They lie and cheat all the time do not use tracfone I'm quitting today!!!
