Back on November 5,2005 I purchased bunk beds for my children. The wait was indicated 8-12 wks. The beds were delivered on 12/29/05. However the head boards and foot boards were neutral in color and the frame and side rails were white. The color the entire piece was supposed to be was white. The delivery men were apologetic and stated they would put the bed together and we could use it as a loner. A new bed would be reordered. They however could not put the beds together as no hardware was sent.... Later that night 2 other delivery men came back to put the bed together. Again assured me a new bed would be exchanged for this loner.
After approximately 10 weeks I called the store as no one contacted me about delivery. I was told that an order was never placed and that I would again have to wait another 8-12 weeks. They also stated they would only replace the head and foot boards, not the entire unit as I was told. With many calls my complaints were dismissed and we waited for the furniture to arrive. Meanwhile my 2 daughters were heartbroken.
Finally on 4/13/06 after waiting 5 months for a complete bunk bed set the head boards and foot boards finally came. The 2 delivery men were unprofessional and did not completely dismantle the set, the took each end off while holding it in place and attached the head and end boards. This is furniture that children will be using and an accident could be deadly if not together appropriately.
Then the 2 storage draws needed to be put together and while putting them together they damaged both by over tightening the screws. So their answer was
" we have to order new draw" very uncaring and unprofessional. After we have waited 5 months for the furniture.
The next morning I contacted the store my self and informed them of my complaints and was treated as if I was, and the problem was unimportant to them. Again I was told "we will order you new draws and you will have to wait again."
I asked to have the name of the CEO and or presidents name and I was not given this information. I was only able to talk to a manager.
I felt this company was unprofessional in many ways and acted very poorly in customer service.
