I went to Davids Bridal on March 11, 2006 to find a wedding gown. I was greeted and had a wonderful experience and good service while trying dresses on and finding the "perfect dress" for me. Only two things on the dress were needing altered, the cap sleeves because they were too long and they added a bustle for my train. It fit like a glove and needed no other alterations.

On April 12, 2006 I went to pick up my dress and IT DID NOT FIT. It literally could not be zipped up and the hook and eye couldn't even be hooked. Here's the deal - I am wearing the same clothes, wearing the same bras. They had to take my dress out 1

I had the worst experience with Davids Bridal and would not recommend my worst enemy in any of their stores. What happened to making an appointment and being waited on? I took my daughter in for her scheduled appointment, while our "consultant" put her in a room, forgot about her and waited on others. We looked for the gowns on our own. Talk about heartbreaking. We finally found a gown she wanted and was forced to go to the check out register for help. I ended up ordering the gown for her at a diffent Davids Location. "These girls had it together and major class!" wish they would have waited on us in the Raleigh store. My whole experience with davids is just that they are too busy! Couples are getting married everyday, the most fabulous part of your planning is "trying on the dress" I felt rushed, insulted and aggravated. My advice ladies? I took my gown to a smaller bridal boutique to have it altered and my daughter, my future husband, myself(the bride) got treated like royalty... Smaller shops cater to your needs more and make it all about you... Davids the girls that helped me out in another state thank you. Davids will never get anything but awfull recommendations from me.
