Empire Liquidators - Ebay

Empire Liquidators ran out of New York. I purchased a vcr from empire liquidators through Ebay.

I purchased a emerson vcr item #5845464546. I'm sure the web page can be pulled up through empire liquidators store in the ebay site. When I received the vcr end of december/beginning of January. It did not stayed powered on, nor would it play vhs tapes. It was absurd, it being that the vcr was advertised to be used ofcourse, a little bit of tape residue, recording a little fuzzy,but plays vhs tapes good for many hors of great use. It was also gauranteed against DOA. Needless to say, I called around and found a repair shop that would fix it for 10.00 . I called empire liquidators to tell them of the mishap, and their false advertising. It being that I thought I could fix it for ten dollars, I gladly accepted the ten dollar in store credit. Once it was looked at in the repair shop they came to the conclusion that it could not be fixed. ( it was in the repair shop two months) I called empire liquidators and they refuse to work with us, or give us our money back, saying that it took too long. They also would not call us back. We had to call them long distance, and contact by email several times before we received a response.
