Whirlpool India: Pathetic after sales service Dear Sir, I am from Hyderabad and have gone through your Complaint site a lot of times. I am writing you to include my case in your section. I am having a R27 Elite refrigerator and after using the fridge for one and half year, the door started giving a problem, and now the door unit is not closing. I have raised a Complaint no K2407 on 23rd-24th March 06 and the Whirlpool technician attended it and said that the base of the door unit has to be replaced. He has raised an indent for the part and it is over 12 days now and the local store has not received the part. I am unable to use the fridge for the past ten days as the door unit does not close. I have a small baby at home and need to store milk and top up feeds in the fridge for his consumption. With the fridge not functioning properly, we are facing immense problems. I am mailed their customer care twice already (Email User). I have also shared my experience through their website but without any response. This kind of delay in service from Whirlpool is not accepted and causing a lot of problem at home. The last time I called up the customer care and they say that the part is not available in the main store at Gurgaon or Pondicherry and would take 20 more days for the part to come in. It may also be that the part will be manufactured by the ancillary and supplied to the Head office.
