Collection agaency Re: Academy Collections, Philadelphia
I received a phone call from a woman at work screaming that I was $300 behind on my Citibank account, that they had sued me and I was in serious trouble. She wound not give her company's name, address or fax number or send me written confirmation of the amount due. I got home and there was a voicemail from an angry man at the same agency telling me how serious my "matter was" and I better call before he makes a decion what to do next. My son's therapists and baby sitters heard the message and thought I had been arrested. They called 4-5 times a day for months . The matter was filed resolved by a wonderful woman at Citibank named Sandy. I always hear horror storys about what bastards Citibank is, but Sandy was more than fair and decent and resolved my problem-that is why I have been with them for 14 years and why I will stay with them .
