Ford 2003 e series trucks 6.0s and 7.3s

Ford 2003 e series trucks 6.0s and 7.3s My complaint is simple, Ford Motor Company, its representatives and its leadership have no respect for consumers, safety, quality or service. I purchased six 2003 e series trucks in support of my business and due to safety and reliability problems with these trucks my business was forced to closure. In a two year period these six trucks were in the shop in excess of 370 days and worsened over time. In 2005 these six trucks were in the shop 315 days from January 2nd, 2005 until closure of this company on July 29, 2005. This time does not include the five trucks in repair when the business closed. These trucks were repaired for oil pressure problems, injectors, brakes, blown head gasket, warped heads, water in gas problems, electrical problems effecting the lighting system, go through batteries like a cheap flashlight but nothing compared to the issue of greatest concern, these trucks would lose power and stall while in operation without warning. These trucks would drop in speed of 65 mph to 35 mph in seconds placing the drivers and anyone beside or behind these trucks in danger when this issue occurred. My drivers avoided several near accidents when this occurred as they were trying to get off the highway to a safe place to await assistance. When these trucks would stall they were almost impossible to handle as the driver had only a few seconds to seek a safe area to pull off the highway. These trucks were repaired time and time again and on two occasions they broke down before they even made it back to the shop only a few miles from where they were repaired. These Ford e series trucks of which were powered by the 6.0 and the 7.3 diesel engines are a danger to all that own them as well as a danger to all that share the highways with them across this country. The 7.3 diesels are as dangerous to operate as are the 6.0s that Ford recalled for the exact issue of loss of power or stalling. I wrote three letters to Mr..William Clay Ford Jr. in reference to this serious issue, wrote twenty three e-mails to Ford Customer Service, discussed the issue directly with Fleet Customer Service and a certified Ford mechanic discussed this issue directly with Ford and no action was offered to assist or provide a safe and reliable vehicle to support my company. Ford Customer Service and Mr..William Clay Ford Jr.were all aware the company would shut down without assistance. Mr.. Ford, the leadership and Ford Customer Service showed no concern for the safety or quality of their products nor did any person at Ford Motor Company show any concern for their customer.I have written to the South Carolina Consumer Affairs Office, South Carolina Attorney General, filed three complaints with NHTSA and I am currently writing a letter to address this matter with the one of the highest offices in this United States. Consumers should expect a safe and reliable vehicle when they place their trust in the manufacture. Consumers should not be forced to accept the liabilities of known defective vehicles. I purchased 370,000 dollars worth of defective vehicles from Ford Motor Company and all I received from them is more cost added in an effort to keep the trucks running in a safe manner. These trucks destroyed my business, left eleven employees jobless, left 450 customers without support and left the cost of closure which all could have been prevented if Ford or its leadership would have supported my company with a safe and reliable product.Where is the leadership? My concern goes much deeper than the loss associated with the closure as I am concerned for the safety of millions of consumers across this country. Five of my six trucks were supported with the 7.3 diesel engines which have the same defect as does the 6.0s that have been recalled. They will stall or lose power without warning and there is no doubt that sooner or later someone will endure serious injuries or a loss of life will occur due to this issue. Ken L. Shirley Forest Va.
