I placed order via the Internet for a wet/dry shaver for my husband that said it was "in Stock" on the website. I thought this would be a safe bet for a Christmas present considering that the item was to ship and I was to receive it within 2-5 business days. You guessed it, I didn't receive it by the 21st and so I called the number on the receipt that was sent to me via e-mail. I was told it hadn't even shipped yet due to my address not matching up to my billing address. I should probably mention that not once did I receive a phone call confirming my address, even though my phone number was plain to see on the information I gave them and on the receipt I received from them.
When I talked to them on December 21st, I was then told that they didn't have the information regarding my order (that they needed) because of another place in CA that they shipped product from. They would give me a call back in approximately one hour. I never heard from them.
I received a call the day before I received my item,from the company, which was the 29th of December, saying that I should receive my (Christmas present) on the 30th! Great news, I DID receive the shaver I ordered. The shaver package was approximately 9x10 but the box it was shipped in was approximately 12x14 and had nothing in it to keep the item from getting damaged! It looked as if the box had been used before for something else and had a great big rip in the corner of it. It's a miracle that the shaver didn't fall through the box!
I should also tell you I was told (on the 29th) that this item was on "back order" this whole time, and this is the reason I was getting it late. Hmmm, so it wasn't a problem with my address?
I will say that this is the first time I have ever had such a bad time trying to receive a product and I have ordered over the Internet alot in the past. I just won't be dealing with this company ever again and I would advise the same to you if you don't wish to get a severe headache.
