Expensive Shoes from Woodland

Dear Sir,

We are to inform you that we had bought a pair of expensive WOODS premium brand shoes worth Rs.3500.00 end November 2005 from JIVAND SINGH & SONS, E-11 SOUTH EXTN.-II, NEW DELHI-110049 Tel No.51529004 and had only worn not more than NINE DAYS and the stiching on top of the shoes opened up. On 27.12.2005 my wife returned the pair of shoes to Mr.Tribhuvan wide repair slip no.1046 dtd.27.12.05 categorically requesting them to replace the shoe and we will not accept the reapired the shoes. We contacted again Mr.Tribhuvan again on 31.12.05 where he again insisted that it will only be repaired and NO REPLACEMENT will be given. Mr.Tribhuvan claimed to have discussed with Mr.Rajiv Sharma, Head Repairs and Replacement, Woodlands and that now Mr.Rajiv Sharma will give his valuable decision on the said issue.

As a buyer who always buys less but only buys BRANDED apparels is shocked at the behaviour of the retailers wherein customer satisfaction is the motto, whereas in the oraganised retail segment none of the franchisees bothers about customer satisfaction. It is the manufactuerers who should find out on time to time basis how their francisees are taking care of their customers if they wish to increase the brand loyal consumer base.
