Consumer Cellular I wanted to try thier service. After all I couldn't lose anything (No Contract and I would be able to use my existing phone). This meant No activation fees either. Unfortunately, you have to do everything on-line. This would have been fine, except I was continually prompted to "buy a phone". That's when I discovered that their Customer Servbice is "Non-Existant". All I wanted was info as to how to activate their service without buying a phone. I incurred 2 seperate 15 minute cellphone "on-hold" calls to them. After no human contact I gave up. Then I tried 2 e-mails to their customer service (1 thru my ISP and one thru their "contact us" area within their own website. This second one promised a quick response. That was 8 days ago and have heard N-O-T-H-I-N-G. So, if your considering trying Consumer Cellular and "care nothing" of customer service (ha-ha) then be my guest. Otherwise go elsewhere!
