Complaint about the GIANT HYUNDAI dealership, Little Falls NJ

I would like to let all other potential customers out there know that this dealership will do anything they can and tell any lie they need to get a customer in the door. After agreeing upon a take home price on a 2005 Santa Fe over the phone, then coming from far away to the dealership, and then even test driving the vehicle, the sales manager Orlando jacked up the price a lot in person. He said that it wasn't him that agreed on the price with me, and then that the price we'd agreed upon was for a lesser vehicle. He also claimed that there were $795 in extra options on his vehicle... options which he couldn't even explain.


The kicker was that when I got back home two hours later, I received a call from what turned out to be one of the other sales representatives from the same dealership. This rep. was just responding to a general query I'd left on the internet for ANY hyundai dealers; she had no idea that I had a history with Giant Hyundai and I had no idea that she was from that dealership until the very end of our conversation (if I had, I would've hung up right away.) When I asked her for a specific car, a Merlot-colored 3.5L GLS vehicle, she said that she could get me that car, at the price I asked for- I'd just have to come in. I was somewhat skeptical but also excited, until she said: "Just come in and ask for the manager, Orlando." It was then that I realized she too was from Giant Hyundai... funny because I knew well that GIANT HYUNDAI DID NOT ACTUALLY EVEN HAVE THAT SPECIFIC VEHICLE IN STOCK! They were just trying to get me in the door and sell me something else for a higher price, again! Seems that is their policy.


As George W. Bush might say: "Fool me once.... um... well, shame on GIANT HYUNDAI!"

Giant Hyundai were crooks!! They are now closed! Just to note the owner Robber Casulli is the brother of the owner of the Hyundai dealer on Rte 22 in Union NJ.
