WICKS FURNITURE We just purchased a complete family room set with couch love seat and recliners. This set included 2 end tables with lamps and a coffee table.. When we bought the set in late November we were told the coffee table was out of stock and would be delivered on 12/31/05.. We agreed to this as we were having guest for new years and the table would be in by then...
We received a call in mid December letting us know the table would not be delivered as promised the new date was now early February... We applied for the Wicks deferred interest financing and were approved right away, a few weeks after our furniture arrived we received a credit card from Wicks... however the credit card was someone else's card enclosed in a form with my account number and name on it... Seeing as i now have someone else's new credit card, I can only suspect that someone else has mine... Luckily for the other person i am not the type of person to go out and purchase a house full of furniture on there card... I hope the person who has my card feels the same way...
I contacted both the finance company who issued my card for Wicks and the Wicks store... The finance company put a block on my account and will issue me a new card.. the store said they were sorry for my trouble and would make a note of it... No the answer I was looking for....
I am sure that I will not be using my Wicks credit card, if and when I do recieve it....
