Vehicle recall

I am writing to register my dissatisfaction with the manifold on my Buick Riviera.

Before I had driven 60,000 miles I had to replace the manifold. Then again before I

had driven 105,000 miles. In eight years, it has been nesecessary to have two new

manifolds replaced.

I would like to know if my car is the only Buick Riviera with this problem. I can't

believe that General Motors didn't recall this model for a better manifold.

It is my contention that a manifold should last the life of the car. With all the new

technology on the market these days, I don't understand why General Motors did not

detect this problem early. Perhaps, I am the only Riviera owner that is having this

type problem.

I would like to know if there any other complaints about the manifold. This has

caused me many distressing hours.
