NetRight Motors Netright Motors is an e-bay automobile seller. The owner is a Mr. Jim Hunt. Netright Motors is a power seller on e bay with a very good reputation. I was impressed by their e bay rating and was confident that they were and honest and reputable dealership. Unfortunately this has not been the case. I purchased a 1998 Chevrolet Lumina for $6999.99 on e-bay. Mr Hunt advertised the car as having been inspected and in pristine condition. I paid for the car plus shipping and tax and license fees. The car had been wrecked prior to it's sell to me. There had been body shop repairs to the cars hood, door, front panel and headlights. The cars front end had been damaged and required repairs. The car had a sunroof. This sunroof had been improperly installed and leaked. There was water damage to the cars interior linings and electrical connections and seat upholstery. I obtained mechanic reports as to the front end damage. I obtained body shop reports as to the badly done repairs to the cars body. I obtained repair statements from a glass company that had attempted to repair the sunroof. The report stated that repairs could not be done due to bad installation and the sunroof had to be sealed. It was no longer usable. I submitted these reports to Netright Motors, in care of the owner Jim Hunt and his daughter in law Piper Hunt. Piper Hunt offered me a 200 dollar rebate to settle with me. This was to stop my complaints. I had earlier asked for a refund on an offer of $1,000.00 that I had sent on a bid that I had cancelled. I later rebid and bought the car, however Netright Motors required that I pay them $200.00 before they would refund the remaining $800.00. Basically I was offered the money back that I had sent them. Mr Hunt refused to consider my complaint. Mr Hunt stated that because I had given him a negative report on e bay he felt he had lost money and therefore was not about to discuss compensation with me. Mr Hunt gave me the impression that he was happy that I had suffered financial loss. Mr Hunt was not concerned that the cars value had significantly been reduced to to prior accidents. Mr Hunt stated that he had a carfax report that gave the car a clean bill of health. I told Mr Hunt that the carfax report showed only accidents that had been reported to an insurance company or Police Dept. Apparently this accident had not been reported. I filed complaints with the BBB and the Attorney General of Pennsylvania, I soon discovered that as an online buyer from another state, getting help from these organizations was unlikely. Mr Hunt disputed both of these complaints. I have never dealt with a more dishonest and unconcerned dealer than Mr Hunt. Netright Motors and Jim Hunt and Piper Hunt have dealt with me in a manner that I feel is dishonest. Netright Motors has sold me a wrecked and damaged car that cost me thousands of dollars to attempt to repair and was worth very little when I finally had to trade it in for another vehicle. This loss was an unfair burden on my family and finances. I would not recommend these people or dealership under any circumstances.
