Spawish.com- gift certificates/customer service

I would just like to publically complain about the customer service I received from spawish.com today (12/29/05). I recv'd a gift certificate from a friend last xmas but I was holding onto it until I had my baby. well here I am a year later and was really looking forward to a spa day when I realized I cant find the certificate. I called spawish hoping that with the little info I had, they could look it up and at least confirm it wasnt redeemed and maybe re-issue it for me- a long shot I know. The sales rep explained that the gift was like cash and couldnt be re-issued. when I suggested they improve the system so that the certificate # could be used more efficiently in the event of a lost/stolen gift, the woman was extremely terse and essentially hung up on me. Im a working mom so I buy gifts and gift certificates online all the time. I would never buy a gift certificate from this company and I would not recommend them to anyone either.
