Dell computer corporation This is my hellish experience with Dell computers. I ordered a Dell XPS Home system late November 2005. I told the Dell sales person at that time to update my shipping address as they had a wrong address on their file .Subsequently I made 3 more phone calls to make sure that they had the right shipping address. But to my utter dismay,5 days later I found through UPS tracking that they had shipped my computer to an address in New York City where I had lived 6yrs earlier. Since then I have made several phone calls to Dell to refund my money worth $1379.62 .They are refusing to do so stating that the shipment is lost and they cannot do anything until they trace it. Also the fun part is that they still have my wrong address on their file although every time I call (I must called them at least 15 times by now)I make sure that they update my information. When I discussed this issue with some of my colleagues I found that most people are completely dissatisfied with Dell Customer service and have had similar problems in the past .I do not know where to turn to because this organization has swiped over a thousand dollar from my pocket through their unjust trade practices.
