Burger King service and packaging

Burger King, Little Rock, AR, Store # 2487 on Rodney Parham Road

My husband and I visited Burger King for lunch today and several things happened. We ordered our food and proceeded to the payment window. We had received a gift card for Christmas, and so we offered that as payment. The guy, his nametag said Dale and he was an African-American male, took our card and then handed it back to us and closed the window but not before we heard him discussing with someone that some girl he knew or someone else knew didn’t have a job. We proceeded to the next window to pick-up our order when they told us they we had to pay for our order. We told them that we had paid already and they then said that our gift card didn’t work. We knew nothing about this, as the guy at the payment window didn’t say anything to us. We finally received our order. When my husband complained that the guy at the payment window didn’t tell us what was going on, the lady handing us our bag gave a disinterested hmmm and an insincere apology.

At home, I reached inside the bag to pull out my sandwich and when I grabbed the wrapper, my hand was on the top and bottom of the sandwich, the sandwich slipped down into the bag leaving just the bottom bun in the wrapper and a mess of mayonnaise and ketchup in and on my bag. I had some on my pants as well.
