Wicks Furniture I bought the majority of my furniture for my new home back in March and April of 2005. As of today, I have yet to see my furniture delivered without damage. My coach, dining table/chairs, and bedroom footboard have been delivered and redeliverd to my new home 6 times and have spent countless hours on Saturday 4 hour window delivery waiting on furniture to arrive damaged. I have complained to the President John Disa which in turn forwarded my message on to his secretary Barb Davis. She returned my call back in July after several message attempts. She assured me that my furniture will be delivered and inspected before delivery. She also mentioned the dining room table was no longer available and she would be willing to give me another dining room table since they no longer had this table in stock. I told her that I would call her back within that week so I can drive to a Wick's store to find a set. I called Barb Davis and have been trying ever since. I have left messages at least once a week since July. I called customer service to see if they even had my order in and they told me that they couldn't do anything for me since it has been longer than 6 months and my warranty expired. What?!! Your CEO's secretary doesn't return any of my phone calls and you are telling me that I cannot get my furniture exchanged when they were never delivered undamaged. This is ludacrious! I told the Customer Service rep to ask Barb Davis why she doesn't return phone calls and that I wanted someone to come to my home and pick up ALL the furniture and wanted my money back. Well, guess what? Barb Davis called within the 24 hour period. She left me a voice mail message telling me that she cannot do anything for me until I have service come out. I returned her call back that day to let her know that I was not going to be inconvenienced again since SHE failed to return any of my calls and I have phone records to prove I called. Service came out here in July to tell me that he has never seen so many furniture damaged. He also was repaulsed. I told Barb Davis on the voice mail that I needed this resolved asap and was not going to wait a month for service to come out and wait another month to have my furniture redelieverd when THEY were not supporting customer service and failed to call me back. I am so disappointed in the poor quality service in the CEO secretary and poor quality in the furniture. I am sending this email out so everyone is aware of this poor service. _____ Yahoo! I just found out today 2-12-08 that Wicks has filed for Bankrupt. They can not order any parts. Now I am stuck with a broken chair.
