UNRETURN LEASE DEPOSIT(TENANTS BEWARE

Former tenant of Walden Village Community in Clarkston Ga.I moved in Walden Village former recognize name(Tahoe) back in 1992 to 2002.I was very pleased with my service that landlord and customer support team display,until I move in June 2002 outside of the Ga area. I lived there for 10 years and I have witnessed numerous changes within the community and organization personnel.

The beginning of the tenants nightmare: I provided my 90 days non renewal lease agreement notice back in April 1 FY02, if I may say I have never default on my lease agreement of paying my rent late or destroy of property.On 28 June 02 I conducted my final walk thru with Mrs. Betty current property manager with suported evidence of photos showing the condition of the apartment in question.Mrs Betty provided to me the clearence checklist with encoding (Satisfaction Condition)advised me the it will take up to 30 days for a return of deposit and I will need to provide alternate address which I complied.After 30 days plus passed, I will receive a check from the company as promise with a huge discrency amount,when I move in back in FY02 deposit of $150 was the requirement and when I upgrading(change unit) FY97 within the community another deposit was required $150 sum of $300.00.When I contacted the community office with my finding and provided them with my 10 years property statements that shows past and current rent status, final photos and clearance checklist after all of that I was told they couldn't locate my tenant file and the pervious manager and staff has been changed and no longer employed here. Remember all this change occurred within 1 month and 2 days,leasing consultant agreed with evidence provided over the fax and forward to current manager.Two week passed I call with updates spoke with new property manager she confirmed her finding it seem like possible embezzlement was conducted within the organization and research and discovered other former tenants with the same non received deposits matter with no explanation occurred.Doing the company investigation I discovered that pervious staff member(s) file non received payment within the clarkston court against my social security number with a different name that file 4 July02 .More unexplaining action the court has no record of me under my pervious or current used name,I provided all my addresses past and current, used names and tenant records to correct this matter with the court and credit bureaus.I contact the credit bureaus with possible identity fraud.FY04 is the last contact with property staff/owner with no new updates/changes.

Tenants Beware stay prioritized and check Credit report regular or enrolled in Credit watch programs.
