Sales man located at Hampton Toyota in Lafayette This complaint is concerning the service my daughter and I received at Hampton Toyota on Thursday December 22,2005. The Salesperson was rude, unhelpful, and unfriendly. My daughter had applied for an automobile online. She received a call from Hampton Toyota in November but was unable to go to the dealer-ship because of finals etc. My daughter is attending ULL in Lafayette,La.and lives on campus. She has a workstudy job with no credit I was going to be the co-signer for the car with both of our names on the car. When the application was done on-line we did mention that she would need a co-signer and also I had a bankruptcy discharge about 3 years ago. When we arrived we waited for about 10-20 minutes for the salesman to give us a definite answer about the car. Then he came and left us for about 20-25 minutes than we walked out of the dealer-ship seem as though he did not want to assist us He came to the parking lot as I was leaving and told me my daughter did not have any credit and I could not be a co-signer because I had declare bankruptcy. We had the money for down-payment plus I have a job. I've been employed with the School Board as a teacher for over 15 years. The salesman treated us as garbage, I was hurt and also my daughter.
