Frigidaire dishwasher

Electrolux/Frigidaire dishwasher. two year warrenty. after 28 mo. element burned through liner and water was leaking out when dishwasher was running. it was not noticible because of floating floor. water was accumulating under it. Electrolux wants to pay 1,000.00 and release them from responsibility. They want me to turn it in to my homeowners insurance. I already had to file one claim this year from a tree on my roof for the ice storm. I think I will have to get a lawyer? We redid the whole kitchen and I think it can be repaired for about 2,000.00 plus replace the dishwasher. The liner has a 10 year warrenty but they won't take care of the dishwasher until the floor is resolved. stuck in limbo since September 2005 can any one help me? I have to fax or mail them. Cannot phone them and have no idea how to reach some one higher up who might care. The entity has no feelings. At least my house did not burn down around me. Just a consumer

I purchased a Frigidaire dishwasher from my local Lowes. Within 3 months it stopped working. I have been dealing w/the Electrolux Warranty Dept. for over a week to get someone to come and fix it. Have gotten nothing but the run around. TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED WITH THEIR SERVICE. WILL NEVER BUY THEIR PRODUCTS AGAIN. WILL NEVER RECCOMEND THEM TO ANYONE. IN FACT, WILL DO THE OPPOSITE.
