Bell Sympatico is ripping off people Hello, I AM VERY DISHEARTED AND DISAPPOINTED WITH BELL SYMPATICO. I have been using bell sympatico for little over two years. I have been on their plan where I was suppose to get 3.0 MB of bandwidtch but their connection has always been slow most of the time. Anyways, after two long years, I changed to Rogers, and I called them to cancel my service. I am not on contract with them but they told me that due to their process they cannot cancel it before 30 days. Due to their inability to terminate the service, they have sent me the bill upto termination date. Remember it may only take one day to connect the service but when it comes to terminate or cancel it can take them 30 days, rubish. I called them many times that I did not want the service and it was my right to terminate it and why I was getting charged for something which I did not want and supposingly be disconnected. But no use. Everybody had a different story in their billing department and they told different stories. I believe they have back doors to rip off customers and they are panalizing me for leaving them. I am wondering what kind of world we are living in, where big companies ripp of ordinary people, their honest earnings and fill their pockets and get rich. Why there is no action against such companies whose methods of business are very unethical and self centered and have back doors to rip off ordinary people.
